By downloading Scan App Pro on their Android or Apple device, your drivers are able to scan parcels to update their status and through an online, cloud-based portal, you can see where drivers are and if they are active or off duty.

How to create your delivery fleet
With just a click of a button you can start expanding your delivery fleet, as all it takes is an invite you send from Consignor to the drivers you want to add. Once your drivers have downloaded the app via the link in your invite, they are ready to start scanning parcels.
Through Scan App, your drivers are able to upload information such as the delivery status, signatures and photo capture which can be viewed by your customers and the end recipient via a cloud based portal.
Recipients can also be automatically notified about key events so they are kept up-to-date at every stage of their parcel’s journey.
New Pro feature: Optimize the work flow
Updating each individual shipment in the van with a new status such as “Delayed” is a time consuming process.
With the Container feature in Scan App Pro, you can consolidate all shipments in one master container which acts as the parent to all the children. This then allows you to automatically update the status for all shipments at the same time through scanning and updating the master container.
New Pro feature (coming soon): Generate the best delivery route
It can be difficult for your drivers to manually work out the best route when delivering parcels to multiple locations.
Scan App Pro solves this problem, by taking the master container, and automatically calculating the fastest delivery route of all the contained shipments, providing expected drop off times, showing the distance between each drop and displaying the optimized route on Google Maps.

Existing Consignor customers
Existing Scan App customers will be migrated within the next 6 months to Scan App Pro. Both applications work in parallel and there’s built in support in the Scan App Pro for existing customers to easily migrate all their settings when installed. You can read more here.
